Sweet Sentiments Exhibition opens at the Bartlett History Museum

Since the 1700s, cards expressing love and caring have been sent on Valentine's Day. The Victorians turned these greetings into lavish love notes with the addition of flowers, lace, and winged cupids.

The Bartlett History Museum's collection of vintage valentines, dating from the early to mid 1900s, is now on display until the end of February. The free museum is located in Bartlett Village Hall, 228 S. Main Street in Bartlett. The exhibition, entitled “Sweet Sentiments,” is located in the council chamber hallway and features cards in a variety of styles, artwork and design with sweet sentiments to match!
