Hoffman Estates hosts first ‘First Fridays’ event for disabled adults
The village of Hoffman Estates is hosting a fun event for disabled adults ages 14 and older from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 at Vogelei Barn Teen Center, 650 W. Higgins Road. It is the first of several “First Fridays” events held on the first Friday of each month for special needs citizens. There will be games, pool, pingpong, snacks and pizza for $2 a slice. Admission is free. January’s theme is “All Things Glee!” For information contact the Commission for Disabled Citizens at (847) 781-4851.
