Police probe man’s death in Darien

Darien police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on a parkway, authorities said Thursday.

The DuPage County state’s attorney’s office confirmed the man was found dead Wednesday morning and police have launched an investigation.

The body was in the area of 67th Street and Cass Avenue near Westmont. Police did not immediately respond to requests for additional information.

Coroner’s officials said an autopsy was under way. The man’s identity and other details were not released.
