We must do more about weapons
Let’s see if I’ve got this right. Our political leaders have no qualms about invading foreign countries in order to find and destroy weapons of destruction that threaten our national security. But when weapons that can be easily hidden by killers who are U.S. citizens are used to shoot children on the streets of Chicago or at a school in Connecticut, the best our political leaders can do is call for moments of silence or lower the flags to half-mast. Am I missing something?
