Prayers for those affected by shooting

On Dec. 14, a man shot his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Conn. He brutally killed 26 innocent people — 20 were little children. Words cannot begin to express my feelings for the horrific tragedy. Innocent young children and adults were murdered for absolutely no reason.

As Muslims, we believe that every life is scared and honored. The Holy Quran tells us that to kill one innocent person is to kill all of mankind. Prophet Muhammad taught us to always respect and be kind to all children. I pray to Almighty God to help everyone affected by this tragic loss.
