Join club and donate to help its good cause

Donate to help Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors continue its wide-variety of community offerings.

As in past years, they come to you this time each year with the annual end-of-the-year fundraiser request. This is the only concerted donation drive of the year and they rely on your support to help keep Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors and all of its activities running smoothly.

Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors does not have dues and generally does not charge for the activities. Instead, it relies on donations that allow it to offer many activities to its broad constituency.

They have a matching gift program in place this year, increasing the value of your donation to Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors this month. Your dollars go further, and enable it to provide even more services to the community in the coming year by sending in your tax-deductible donations right away online or through the mail.

Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors has completed another year as the vibrant and dynamic Jewish organization that welcomes all who are interested in being part of the ongoing building of the local Jewish community. Each year, they have more people participating in an ever-increasing number of programs. This year, members gathered for:

Ÿ Social service activities, including working at Northern Illinois Food Bank and participating in the International Day of Peace

Ÿ Interfaith- and family-friendly services and celebrations, including baby-naming ceremonies, Shabbats, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot.

Ÿ Fox Valley Jewish School, FVJN’s religious school

Ÿ Book Club meetings

Ÿ Adult education programs, including film nights

Ÿ Bar and bat mitzvah celebrations and social activities

Help Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors meet its costs for its staff; for maintaining the space on Third Street and renting other space when needed, as well as for supplies in providing its wide-range of services.

Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors makes a difference in the Jewish presence in the area. Local papers frequently cover its events, and people interested in Jewish activities in the area are consistently referred to Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors.

Help continue to gather together, and to welcome all who want to be part of the Jewish community. Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors welcomes you without regard to synagogue affiliation, your brand of Judaism, your religious background, your marital status or sexual orientation, or your age.
