Break the cycle and elect new people

From the same “cut of the cloth” type of legislators being re-elected over and over, how should we believe and think this nation got to the economic and cultural level it is, over the past 50 to 75 years?

With electoral repetition like this, is this not akin to giving our national and state legislators a “blank check” to follow the same pathway that put us where we are today?

Surely, the way of life today is not the American way of life.
