Police: Man crashed stolen car in McHenry County

A man who police say was driving a stolen vehicle was arrested after a single vehicle crash in McHenry County Sunday.

Police responded to a crash at 11:05 p.m. Sunday in the 25000 block of Illinois Route 20 in an unincorporated area near Marengo. Police confirmed the vehicle, a 2004 gray Ford pickup truck, was reported stolen through the Harvard Police Department.

The driver, Richard A. Enriquez, 32, of the 100 block of west 112th Street in Chicago, was transported to Centegra Hospital Woodstock.

Enriquez was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, driving under the influence and driving with revoked license.

Enriquez appears in court Tuesday.
