Veterans Honored with Grove Dental's Free Dental Clinic

On Veterans Day, over 70 Veterans and family members were honored with free dental treatment offered by Grove Dental Associates at their Lombard office. With sincere gratitude for the freedoms allowed because of the service of veteran men and women, Grove Dental hosted this free clinic as a way of giving back to local military families.

The event was a great success with several patients receiving free basic dental services. The clinic was staffed by Grove Dental doctors and staff – all of which gladly donated their time to serve and honor the veterans. “A fair assessment of the event is that the doctors and staff who treated the veterans benefitted just as much as those who received the treatment,” commented Darla Scheidt, Marketing Director and one of the event organizers for Grove Dental. Patients were seen on a first-come, first-serve basis and were content to wait in order to receive their free treatment. The Grove Dental staff shared a warm, cooperative feeling that came from volunteering to help others.

Generous donations of dental supplies and food for the volunteers were received from Patterson Dental, Lilac Bakery, Jimmy Johns, Cinnabon, and Sal’s Pizza. The Grove Dental Lombard office is located at 2 E. 22nd Street.
