A 37-year-old Waukegan man was arrested this week on multiple drug possession charges, authorities said Friday.

Raymond Adams, 37, of the 2000 block of Williamsburg, was arrested Wednesday after members of the Waukegan Police Department’s Gang Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at his apartment and discovered 3 grams of crack cocaine, a scale, small bags and $216, authorities said.

Adams was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver, possession within 1,000 feet of a park, attempted obstructing justice, and resisting arrest.

Police said Adams has six previous drug-related convictions.
