Bartlett Police cite 57 people at underage drinking party

Bartlett police said Tuesday that they have cited 57 people ranging in age from 16 to 20 years of age for unlawful consumption of alcoholic liquor and charged Armando Montiel, 21, of the 600 block of Philip Drive, with hosing an underage drinking party at his residence. Montiel also was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to police reports, police were dispatched about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, to the single-family residence, where they found Montiel hosting a party while his parents were out of town on vacation.

Montiel was released after posting 10 percent of a $1,000 bond. His court date is 10:30 a.m. Dec. 17 in Rolling Meadows. The other 57 individuals were issued a court date of 1:30 p.m. Dec. 26.
