3 arrested in Bartlett on drug charges
Bartlett Police have arrested three men on felony drug charges.
Police were investigating a report of a suspicious gray-colored van parked in the neighborhood of the 900 block of Doral Lane about 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, when they located three men inside such a vehicle near the intersection of Ford Lane and Lela Lane. Police found several small bags of suspected heroin inside and outside of the vehicle, a small amount of cannabis, and drug paraphernalia, reports said.
Evan A. Nelsen, 21, of the 33W200 block of Shagbark Lane in Wayne was charged with felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; John Phillip Pounds, 20, of the 1300 block of Normandy Lane in Bartlett was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of cannabis; and Shawn R. Williams, 22, of the 400 block of Timber Ridge Drive in Bartlett unlawful possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
