Don't Forget the Arlington Food Drive

Tuesday November 20th will bring to a close the 3rd annual Arlington Food Drive sponsored by Lavelle Law Charities. If you have not yet made a donation, please stop by one of the drop boxes around town to contribute non-perishable food, diapers, formula and similar items to assist those in need. Several hundred families utilize the services of the Wheeling Township pantry each month.

Among the locations are: The Peoples’ Bank of Arlington Heights, 41 South Vail and 1104 South Arlington Heights Road, along with many Arlington Heights Park District locations including Heritage Park, 506 West Victoria, Camelot Park, 1005 East Suffield, Frontier Park, 1933 North Kennicott, Recreation Park Center, 500 East Miner, Pioneer Park, 500 South Fernandez, Olympic Indoor Swim Center, 660 North Ridge, and the Park District Administration Center, 410 North Arlington Heights Road. In addition, drop boxes can be found at the Arlington Heights Police Station, 200 East Sigwalt, Fitness 19, 1601 West Campbell, Forbici Salon & Spa, 7 South Highland Avenue, and Active Care Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, Ltd, 902 West Northwest Highway.

All materials collected during the Arlington Food Drive are delivered by the Lavelle staff and other volunteers to the Wheeling Township Food Panty on the 20th. The organization relies on donations from local food drives and the Lavelle Law Charities Arlington Food Drive has been a contributor since 2010.
