‘Holy Light’ choir concert in Barrington Dec. 9

The choirs of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Barrington will present its free annual Christmas concert “Holy Light,” a candlelight service of carols and readings of the Advent and Christmas Season at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9.

The concert includes choir, handbells, soloists, organ, flute and oboe, djembe and timpani. The choirs are especially pleased that The Crystal Brass from Crystal Lake, will again be performing at the concert.

St. Matthew is at 720 Dundee Ave. in Barrington.
