Local Nonprofit Administer Justice Hosts Annual Banquet

Administer Justice hosted its annual Raising the Bar Banquet on November 8th at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The event featured guest speaker Pastor Harvey Carey who delivered an inspiring message to a group of over 550 attendees. Carey is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Citadel of Faith Covenant Church in Detroit, Michigan. Volunteer Attorney Mark Turek of Wheaton gave a testimonial on how serving those in need has impacted his own life. Administer Justice Executive Director, Bruce Strom provided an important update sharing the organization’s vision of doubling its capacity and expanding into additional suburban locations. The evening concluded with live music provided by worship artist Kimmy Vos of Chicago.

Administer Justice is a non-profit organization providing free civil legal assistance to thousands of low income area residents through a comprehensive program of educational outreach, legal assistance, government intervention and conflict resolution services. Administer Justice takes a holistic approach to client care providing counseling on money management, debt reduction, and tax rights and responsibilities. The organization, headquartered in Elgin, has served over 7,000 individuals this year with the help of hundreds of dedicated volunteers.
