Jersey casinos reopen after 5-day shutdown

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — All but two casinos in Atlantic City planned to be back in business Friday after getting the green light from Gov. Chris Christie to reopen.

The first to welcome back gamblers was the Golden Nugget.

Revel casino planned to open at noon Saturday and the Atlantic Club on Monday.

The governor on Friday cleared the casinos to resume operations after a five-day shutdown due to Superstorm Sandy.
