New look for Wendy’s in Round Lake Beach

The grand reopening of the Wendy’s restaurant at 210 E. Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The facility was completely overhauled inside and out and features an ultramodern design the company says is based on Midwestern contemporary architecture and inspired by noted architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The remodels include flat panel TVs and free Wi-Fi and are part of a national strategy to reinvigorate the brand. Remodeled stores have already opened in Hickory Hills, Hazel Crest and Cary.
