Metra to hold budget public hearing, open house

LOMBARD, Illinois—Metra will be holding an open house and public hearing on its budget in DuPage County on November 7. The meeting will be held at the Wheaton City Hall Council Chambers, located at 303 West Wesley Street. The meeting will be held from 4-7 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting and open house is to provide a “one-stop shopping” for the public to give input on the budget and longer-term agency strategic direction. A first round of public outreach was held in July at various locations so that Metra could solicit feedback from their stakeholders. This second round of meetings (there are several around the Chicagoland area) will provide an update on the process and provide additional information about their plan.
