Have a scary good time at Halloween Hustle run/walk

Adrenaline Sports Management presents the seventh annual Halloween Hustle 5K Fun Run & Walk at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

Participants can lace up their running shoes, get creative costumes, and prepare for a “spooktacular” race through historical downtown Palatine.

Festivities include a costume contest, kid’s entertainment, local sponsor booths, and a post race party at Durty Nellie’s Pub.

This USATF-certified, fast, and fun 5K course will start on N. Eric Street, just past West Colfax. It winds straight through the neighborhood streets of downtown Palatine offering a Halloween feel. The course may even be haunted.

Participants who dress up will be entered in the Costume Contest where one individual and one group will be given an award for Best Costume. Every participant will receive a customized Halloween Hustle dry release T-shirt and a trick-or-treat bag full of race goodies.

Once the race is over, awards will be given to the top three finishers in each male or female age division.

Don’t forget to join Adrenaline Sports Management at Durty Nellie’s for a post-race party, down the street from the course.

The Halloween Hustle benefits Fathers Helping Fathers, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping fathers to be involved in their children’s’ lives. By participating in the seventh annual Halloween Hustle 5K Run & Walk you will help to make educational classes and development programs that focus on making parenting available to fathers.
