Fox Valley Biketoberfest Oct. 21

On Sunday, Oct. 21, the third annual Fox Valley Biketoberfest will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Main Street Bicycles, 39 E. Main St. in the historic Old Town of Carpentersville. Admission is free for spectators. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 28.

This swap meet and open house will feature an antique, classic and custom bicycle show. It is open to all makes and models, including Boneshakers, Fat Tire, Stingrays, Krate, BMX, muscle bikes, Whizzer type, Rat bikes, Fixie bikes, old races, mid-weight, light-weight and more.

The entry fee is $5 for show bikes, $20 for swap space, and individual bikes for sale $5.

Registration and setup will be from 8 to 10 a.m.

Awards and Best of Show will be announced at 2 p.m., followed by a short photo shoot and fall ride on the paved bike path down into East Dundee and back.
