Barrington Area Drug Prevention Coalition to Host Coffee for Parents

Top Five Survival Tools for Parents: Talking to your teen about drugs and alcohol

The teenage years can be full of risks and rewards. The Barrington Area Drug Prevention Coalition is hosting a coffee on Wednesday, October 24 to discuss the risks teens face around drug and alcohol use. Parents can have a great impact on the choices teens make and this coffee is a chance to talk to a dynamic and relevant expert about how to communicate with your teen about the choices they make. Todd Nahigian is the manager of the Committee Representing our Young Adults (CROYA) of Lake Forest, an agency that helps provide teens with opportunities to feel good about themselves during challenging years. Please join us for an informal coffee and discussion about surviving the teenage years. The coffee will be from 9 to 10am in Room C271 at Barrington High School on Wednesday, October 24.
