Maristella fundraisers:

The public is invited to fundraisers this week for Maristella Ministry for Homeless Women and Children, a Libertyville-based organization celebrating its 14th anniversary. On Tuesday, Oct. 9, Casa Bonita restaurant, 633 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, will donate 15 percent of the bill for lunch or dinner to Maristella. On Wednesday, Oct. 10, Mass will be held and lunch served at Marytown, 1600 West Park Ave., Libertyville. And on Friday, Oct. 12, 15 percent of the tabs at Mickey Finn’s, 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, will be donated for meals between 11:30 a.m. and midnight. The group has assisted more than 3,700 families since it was founded in October 1998. Call (847) 367-5360.
