Supervision for Palatine teen who scuffled with police
A Palatine teen who was involved in a scuffle with police last February pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor this week.
Daniel Haze, 19, pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to six months of court supervision and ordered to pay $569 in fines. If Haze completes his supervision successfully and complies with the court’s conditions, the charges will be dismissed after six months.
Police arrested Haze at around midnight Feb. 25 when they say he was one of three people involved in an altercation during which another person grabbed at an officer’s firearm. The two others pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer and were sentenced to conditional discharge this week in a separate case, court records show.
