One injured in Glen Ellyn rollover

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Glen Ellyn Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

A preliminary investigation indicated that one of the vehicle struck the back of the other at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Sheehan Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Police said the vehicle that struck the back of the other veered and rolled onto its side.

The driver of first vehicle had to be cut from the wreckage by the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Department. That person was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in good condition, according to paramedics.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

The intersection was shut down for about 45 minutes during the investigation.

Police continue to investigate, and no charges had been filed as of Tuesday night.
