Lakes wins: At Cooks Park, Lakes won a meet that included Grant (20-41) and Wauconda (20-43). Grant’s Lindsey Lewis took first place with a 19:02 while Lakes’ top finisher was Brittani Griesbaum, who finished in third with a 19:27. Lexi Brunn of Wauconda took second in 19:15.

Vernon Hills d. Antioch: At Fox River Park, Vernon Hills got an 18-45 win over Antioch. Kristen Whitney and Samantha Hershman led the way for the Cougars. They finished first and second respectively with a 20:03.48 and 20:03.75. Antioch’s top finisher was Alyssa Aschenbrener, who took third with a 20:14.01.
