Firefighters, cops meet business leaders in Palatine Bowl

Despite a winless record to date, local business leaders led by the staff and attorneys at Lavelle Law will take on members of the Palatine Police and Fire departments for the fourth annual Palatine Bowl Charity Flag Football Game.

The fundraiser will kick off at noon Sunday, Oct. 7, at Ost Field, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine.

Proceeds from sponsorships, food sales and raffle ticket sales will benefit Shelter Inc., a local organization that provides support services to abused and neglected children. Past groups to benefit from the event include the Northwest Special Recreation Association, the family of fallen U.S. Marine Cpl. C.J. Boyd and WINGS.
