Students eligible for cash prizes with good grades in bank contest

With the first quarter of the school year well under way, student are encouraged to sign up and be eligible for the first of four drawings this year in The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights' “We Pay for A's” contest, The program offers cash prizes to the winners whose latest report card includes any A's or B's, with winners eligible for up to $100 in prizes.

In each drawing, the bank selects five winners from among the entrants and those five will be paid $20 for every A and $5 for every B on their most recent report card, up to $100. Registration forms are available at The Peoples' Bank locations at 41 South Vail and 1104 South Arlington Heights Road, or on line at www.peoplesbanc.com. Payments are deposited into a Peoples' Bank Kids Savings account. If the winner does not have an account, one will be opened for them at no charge.

“We have held our ‘We Pay for A's' for a number of years and paid out thousands of dollars to winners of all ages,” said Peoples' Bank Vice President Mary Ann Flynn. “Students can register in our lobbies or on line at www.peoplesbanc.com.” The contest is open to students from first grade through college and parental permission is required for those under 18. Flynn said that drawings are held each quarter throughout the school year.
