Proposed health clinic another entitlement
Stand by, Lake County residents and be ready to dig deep into your pockets.
Candidate Romney cites a 47 percent entitlement group. Well, in Lake County, School District 116, of the 7,000 students, 66 percent, two thirds of the student body qualify for free and reduced basics.
The district has applied for a half-million dollar grant from the Federal government to fund/build a health care facility to serve the entitled. The district will know by December if the plan is go.
Planned Parenthood voiced concerns in the Sunday issue of the Herald. My concerns: when the grant money runs out and special foundations for funds can no longer provide financial support, who will pay?
You’re right! The taxpayers. Please call the new superintendent of District 116 and inquire if she was, in her previous district successful in building health clinics for entitled.
