Local community theater production seeks actors and stage hands

Barrington Writers Workshop will be hosting auditions for its upcoming performance “Stage Fright” from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday-Wednesday, Sept. 24-26, at the Garlands Performing Arts Center, 1000 Garlands Lane, Barrington.

The cast calls for two or three children, four teens, five to eight women and five to eight men. Cast will play spooks, trick-or-treaters, civil war soldiers, beasts, executioners, witches, poets and grimms and most will play more than one part.

The performance pieces include original spooky tales, stage plays and poems. Actors and crew must be available for the performance from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26-27.

Co-directors, stage crew, props, lighting and sound people are also needed.
