Tour ‘Treasures of the Tri-Cities’ on Sept. 23

Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley’s sixth annual “Treasures of the Tri-Cities” house tours event will be held from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23.

Tickets are $20 per person. The tour this year will provide visitors a rare chance to visit inside and outside some of the most beautiful Italianate and Greek Revival style homes in Batavia, St. Charles and Geneva.

Homes featured include an 1865 Italianate gem in Batavia that features a prominent cupola, an 1850 Italianate villa in Geneva boasting marble fireplaces with elaborate interior woodwork and not be missed the 1859 Greek Revival home of early St. Charles Mayor Dr. James Lewis.
