Palatine Twp. property assessment appeal period open

Palatine Township residents can file an appeal to their property assessment with the Cook County Board of Review until Tuesday, Oct. 16. Reducing a property’s assessed value can help reduce property taxes. The Palatine Township Assessor’s Office can help residents file their appeals. The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays. No appointment is necessary. Call the assessor’s office at (847) 358-6164 with any questions.
