Waukegan schools car show

The Waukegan Schools Foundation will host the Kars for Kids classic car show on Saturday, Sept. 22. The event is being held in conjunction with North Shore Rods Inc., and is open to all vehicles, regardless of make, model or year. The show begins at 8 a.m. in the Home Depot parking lot at Belvidere Road and Lewis Avenue in Waukegan. Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 vehicles, as well as awards for Best of Show and People’s Choice. Registration fee for vehicles is $12. All proceeds benefit the Waukegan Schools Foundation. The event will also feature raffles, door prizes and entertainment for the whole family. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. An event registration form is available in PDF below.
