Lake County Camera Club names year end winners

The Lake County Camera Club recently held its annual Year End Party and Competition.

Don Chen won Digitally Projected Image of the Year with his photo titled “Dancers in Black” and Small Monochrome Print of the Year with his photo titled “Profile.”

Linda Kruzic won Small Color Print of the Year with her photo titled “Civil War Surgeon.” Jim Ross won Large Monochrome Print of the Year with his photo titled “End of the Day.”

Ron Meyers won Large Color Print of the Year as well as 2011-12 Image of the Year with his photo titled “Potter’s Mill.”

Additionally, Paul Kurek was named 2011-12 Photographer of the Year which he earned by having the highest average scores throughout the yearly competitions as well as number of awards he earned.

The Lake County Camera Club meets the first Thursday of every month and recently started its 2012-13 season. For information, visit www.lakecountycameraclub.org.
