Name one thing the county government or forest preserve district should do to improve transparency.I believe that our constituents have the right to know how the county board and forest preserve are spending their money, therefore, I believe that a break-down of spending should be accessible to constituents, particularly patronage/nepotism jobs and all contracts.Should the forest district use eminent domain to acquire the land needed for the final link in the Des Plaines River Trail? Why or why not? If your answer is no, how should officials go about acquiring that land sooner than later?I do think that the county board should do all it can in order to acquire the final link in the Des Plaines River Trail. This is important for two reasons: 1) because the water table along the river makes it an ecologically sensitive area and 2) to help alleviate flooding throughout the floodplain.What will be the biggest issue facing the county over the next decade, and how do you propose dealing with it?Jobs, Traffic/road construction.
