Parents in city strike can’t complain

When the Round Lake schools went on strike, for I believe 13 weeks, there were no special places for the kids to go. What were the parents of the CPS students doing during the summer?

I had to pay a mint to have my child attend her after-school program when the strike when on. We also missed our vacations due to finances because of the strike and that they had to attend until the middle of July without air conditioning in most of the classrooms.

It has only been a day for CPS. Suck it up.
