Search under way for fisherman on Wisconsin lake

TOWN OF WASHINGTON, Wis. — A search has resumed for a fisherman on a lake in Shawano County.

The sheriff’s department searched Korth Lake Thursday night after an empty fishing boat was found idling in a circle about 6:30 p.m. Authorities say the 57-year-old Green Bay man last had contact with someone around Thursday afternoon and indicated he would be in by dark.

Sheriff’s officials suspended the search about 8 p.m. Thursday and resumed about 8 a.m. Friday.
