Sacred Heart School plans Homecoming weekend Sept. 21-23

All are welcome to help Sacred Heart School celebrate Homecoming the weekend of Sept. 21-23.

The Lombard school, which marked its 100th anniversary this year, is proud to invite alumni and friends to an entertaining pep rally at 7 p.m. Friday at the parish center, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard.

Sunday's events begin with a 9 a.m. Mass, followed by a parade from the parish to the football fields at Madison Meadow Park, 550 E. Madison St., Lombard.

The junior varsity football game kicks off at 11:30 a.m., and the varsity game begins at 1 p.m.

Following the varsity game, families can enjoy an old-school pot-luck/BYO picnic in the park pavilion.

A post-party for adult alumni and friends will be held at O'Neill's Pub after the picnic with drink specials for all who purchase a souvenir cup.
