Woodland school improvement day

Gurnee-based Woodland Elementary District 50 will host its first of four school improvement planning days for the school year on Friday, Sept. 14. Officials said the purpose of school improvement planning days is to provide staff time to discuss and share ideas and information about curriculum and student transition between grades and schools. Friday’s District 50 dismissal times are as follows: Woodland Middle School at 10:40 a.m.; the intermediate school at 11:15 a.m.; Elementary East and Elementary West at noon; and the primary school at 3:30 p.m.
