Bartlett issues weekend traffic advisories

The Bartlett Police Department has issued two traffic advisories for this upcoming weekend.

From 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, motorists traveling on Devon Avenue near Leiseburg Park should be aware of pedestrians walking to and from the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce’s Carnival. Attendees are encouraged to use the free parking areas located at Bartlett Plaza and the Senior Flexonics. Motorists are encouraged to use the designated drop-off areas on South Berteau Avenue since no one will be allowed to drop off individuals on Devon Avenue near Leiseburg Park.

Bartlett Avenue between Western and Oak avenues will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8 and 9 due to the Bartlett Heritage Days’ Flea Market. Bartlett Avenue also will be closed between Oak and Eastern avenues from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9 due to the Bartlett Heritage Days’ Classic Car Show.
