Your news Learn about retiring at ‘When I’m 64’ workshop

The Barrington Area Council on Aging and the Barrington Area Library are sponsoring “When I’m 64,” a four-part workshop that will help guide sixty-somethings as they look toward retirement.

The workshops will be 7-8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 6 through Sept. 27, at the library, 505 N. Northwest Highway, Barrington.

Social Security and Medicare will be discussed Sept. 6; veterans’ benefits, Sept. 13; Medicaid, Sept. 20 and communications on Sept. 27.

The workshops are free and may be attended separately, but registration is required. Call BACOA at (847) 381-5030.
