Village of Lombard introduces new private development engineer

LOMBARD, Illinois—Jana Bryant is the Village of Lombard's new Private Development Engineer.

Bryant has experience in working in the engineering field, most recently employed as a project engineer with American Survey & Engineering, P.C., Chicago. In her capacity there, Bryant was involved in IDOT construction design plans. She has also been employed as a project manager for ESG, Aurora, where she was involved with tollway construction design plans. She has also been a principle engineer for private clients as well as a project engineer for the city of Naperville.

Bryant received her bachelor's of science degree in engineering operations from Iowa State University with an emphasis on engineering management.

“I enjoy helping residents with issues involving stormwater,” said Bryant. “It's very rewarding to help someone understand and ultimately come up with a solution to the issue,” she added.

“I'm learning more and that's important,” Bryant stated. “The permit process makes a lot of sense to me and I'm excited about finding out about all the aspects of the Village,” she added.
