Elk Grove Radio Team Shines Light on Chiropractic health

Today, chiropractors are the third largest group of health care providers, after physicians and dentists, who treat patients directly. Yet, many people are still unsure what a chiropractor does and how he or she can help relieve aches and pains.

Tony and Michelle Myatt, hosts of “Totally Fit Radio,” a one-hour Fitness and Health Program heard each Saturday from 5am to 6am on Elk Grove Village's AM 560 WIND, are introducing a new segment called, “Chiropractic Connection,” that will expand the reach of the show's emphasis on whole and holistic options for health and fitness, to include content relating chiropractic health.

“Chiropractic Connection is a place where people can go to find qualified Chiropractors right in their back yard. Chiropractors will have the opportunity to share their contact information, link to their website and areas of specialties with their prospective patients,” said Tony Myatt, who added, “This feature is designed to empower people to take back control of their own health; allowing the body to do what it does best…heal itself.”

With millions of active baby boomers seeking ways to prolong their activities, the potential market for chiropractic health is large since the profession focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
