Trademark Tavern now open

A beer-lovers paradise awaits at the recently opened Trademark Tavern in Lombard. Grab a seat at one of four “tapper tables” and pour yourself a brew or sample all eight beers on tap at these special tables. Trademark offers more than 70 beers. Tap beers run from $3.50 to $6, and bottles and cans are priced from $6 to $15. Also, 27 wines are offered by the glass from $6 to $12 or by the bottle from $8 to $180. Or get in on the tavern’s specialty whiskey program or its specialty cocktail — the basil strawberry mojito.

Filling Station’s weekly specials

Grab a seat on the shady patio and enjoy the Filling Station’s daily drink specials — that are known to be easy on the wallet but hard to forget. Monday’s lineup includes 12-ounce drafts for $1.50 and $7 pitchers. Tuesday, enjoy $3 imports and $3.50 Long Island Iced Teas. Wednesdays are $2 bottles nights with $4 domestic longnecks, $4 lime margaritas and $5 ultimate Mai Tai’s.
