The Batavia Park District has announced its newest dance instructor, Jenny O’Brien. O’Brien has been dancing for more than 25 years and has studied jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical and musical theater. She believes the stage is a place where you can express yourself while gaining confidence through performing. For this reason, she believes it is important for children of all ages to have performance opportunities.

O’Brien stresses the importance of having a balance between learning and educating, yet having fun. She strives for her dancers to be able to express themselves through the art of dance. She wants her students to walk out the dance room and off the stage with a smile.

O’Brien discovered her true passion for teaching earlier this year. She is excited to be joining the Batavia Park District staff and can’t wait to meet her students this fall.
