A Medicare question for Paul Ryan

If vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s Medicare proposal is as wonderful as he, Mitt Romney, and his supporters all say it is, then why do Ryan and his supporters always rush to assure today’s seniors that it won’t be enacted for them?
