Chamber to fill local food pantries during BG Days Parade

The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce asks that you help us fill its grocery carts during the Buffalo Grove Days Parade Sunday, Sept. 4.

The parade steps off at 1 p.m. along Bernard Drive with marching bands, floats, local organizations, politicians and of course, lots of fun for young and old alike.

Chamber members will be pushing grocery carts surrounding a truck which will store the collected food. The chamber is asking the community to help them fill these carts to overflowing with nonperishable food items so that they can fill the truck and donate the food to local food pantries that are desperately in need of food during these hard economic times. Please be generous.

Food donations will also be accepted at the chamber office, 50 ½ Raupp Blvd., Buffalo Grove, during normal business hours from Sept. 6-30.

For information, contact the Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce at (847) 541-7799.
