Lincolnshire citizen police academy:

The Lincolnshire police department will host a citizens’ police academy from Oct. 2 to Dec. 4. The free 10-week program, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, is designed to give village residents and business people insight into the functions of the department and firsthand experience in what that entails. Topics will include traffic enforcement, use of force and crime scene investigation. Participants must be 21 or older.
