Police: Boys approached by woman in Geneva

Geneva police are searching for a middle-aged woman who approached two boys in downtown Geneva Saturday afternoon.

Police said the woman approached the boys, aged 8 and 10, after exiting a business in the 300 block of Campbell Street at approximately 12:25 p.m.

The boys, who are brothers, were outside the business when the woman asked them if they wanted to see her dog. She told them the dog was parked in her vehicle across the street, but the boys refused and returned to their parents who were nearby, according to police.

Police searched the area, but did not locate the woman.

She is described as a white 55 to 60-year-old, about 5-feet 6-inches tall with a medium build, gray collar-length wavy hear and was wearing a blue skirt, according to police.

The vehicle was a white SUV, possibly a Lexus, police said.
