VFW concert benefits Fox Valley veterans

On Saturday, Aug. 18, Batavia Overseas Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1197 and Waidley Aurora VFW Post 468 will host the “Music Fest 2012” featuring Ricky Lee, a Nashville recording artist.
The benefit concert will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Batavia VFW Post, 645 S. River St. in Batavia. All proceeds will benefit Honor Flight Chicago, Hope for Tomorrow, and the VFW National Home. The opening act will be cover bands.
The goal of the benefit is to raise money to support veterans and their families in the Fox Valley area.
Food and refreshments will be available to purchase from the Batavia VFW Post.
