Sikh Religious Society in Palatine postpones Aug. 18 prayer

The Sikh Religious Society in Palatine has postponed the interfaith prayer set for Saturday, Aug. 18, due to conflicting schedules and other upcoming religious ceremonies, Past President Balwant Singh Hansra said. Hundreds of people Monday attended a candlelight vigil at the temple to remember the six victims killed Aug. 5 at a suburban Milwaukee gurdwara. No new date has been selected at this time.
